SCS Families,
On Monday 3/1/21 we will be releasing information regarding the safe room projects at SMS and SHS. We are excited about the opportunities these projects will bring for SCS students and look forward to sharing more information with the community.
SCS is leaving the leaving the lights on to honor Ryan Wilcoxen and the opportunities he provided for so many others. Our thoughts are with Ryan's family and the entire Owen Valley community @OVbase @SalemComSchools

Vouchers are available at the Salem athletic office for Friday's B-ball game @ Borden. General public can pick up between 8:00-3:00 today and tomorrow. There are 120 available. Players will receive vouchers for their immediate families and grandparents today at practice.

Another round of P-EBT cards are being mailed out to many students of Salem Schools. Be sure and KEEP YOUR CARD this time. There will be other rounds of benefits and the State plans to reload your card if you are eligible for more benefits. Who is eligible for a card? If your child was a student at Salem Schools from Oct - Dec 2020 AND they are enrolled at Bradie Shrum Elementary, either in person or on-line. If your student attends Salem Middle School or Salem High School either in person or on-line your student must be approved for free or reduced meals. SMS and SHS students can be approved either through direct certification from the State or by having an approved meal application on file in the Food Service Office. It isn't too late to submit a meal application for the next rounds. Applications are available at the School website or by calling the Food Service Office at 812-883-3700.
