SCS Update

Salem Community Schools Families,

Unfortunately, Salem Community Schools in-person instruction will be closed Friday, Oct. 16th through Friday, Oct. 30th due to COVID related issues. Remote Learning will take place daily until we return to in-person instruction on Monday, Nov. 2nd.

After consulting with the Washington County Health Department...due to positive cases and mandated quarantine measures... we will move to Remote Learning Instruction during this time to mitigate the effects on our students, staff, and community.

Currently, COVID cases, close contact and self-quarantining are impacting all three of our buildings. Individual student course work will be posted by the teachers to Google Classrooms by 9 am each day.

IHSAA in season activities may continue at this time during the Remote Learning days. Online Lions will continue as scheduled. We will provide updates through our school web page, facebook and twitter social media accounts.
