Where are you from? Southern California
How long have you been teaching? This is my first year of teaching.
Why did you become a teacher? There is an extreme shortage of teachers at the moment and I wanted to participate in helping children develop to their full potential.
What are you looking forward to in your new job? I am excited to share the joy of music with the kids and watch them progress in their educational journey.
Why do you think music is an important part of a child's education? Music is a major part of many peoples lives and an early understanding of the parts which make up the whole of music is important to know. Having a fundamental knowledge of music allows for better problem solving as they utilize these learned concepts from music.
Is there anything else you'd like the community to know about you?
During the couple of years being here in Salem, our family has felt very welcomed and we love it here.
